Make a quiz your crowd can’t stop sharing.

Score quizzes and “what are you” identity quizzes with share cards built in. Your people take it, get a card with their own link, and dare their friends to beat them.

  • ✓ Free forever by hand
  • ✓ 2 AI quizzes a month, free
  • ✓ Share to X in one tap

How it works

From idea to everyone’s feed in three steps.

  1. 1

    Make it

Write it by hand — free, no limits — or let AI draft it from a topic. You review every line before it goes live.

  2. 2

    Take it first

Your own result becomes an invite card — “I got 14/20. Beat me.” — with your link on it. Post it anywhere.

  3. 3

    Watch it spread

Every taker gets a card with their own short link. Each new take is traced back to whoever shared it.

Quiz types

Two kinds of quiz. Both made to be shared.

Score quiz

Points add up to a title.

Every score range gets its own title and one-liner — plus a grid of squares that shows exactly how you did. Great for “How ___ are you?”.

Example · How old of a dev are you?

  • 0–4Fresh out of bootcamp. Your git history is still clean.
  • 5–8You remember when npm left-pad broke the internet.
  • 9–12You've survived 3 JS frameworks… and jQuery.
  • 13–16You debugged in IE6 and lived to tell the tale.
  • 17–20You committed to SVN. Your code is someone's legacy now.

Identity quiz

Every answer casts a vote.

Each answer points to a type; the most votes wins. Perfect for “What kind of ___ are you?” — people love posting who they are.

Example · What kind of dev are you?

  • "It Works on My Machine" Philosopher 🧘
  • Rewrite-It-in-Rust Missionary 🦀
  • Side-Project Graveyard Keeper 🪦
  • Prod-Friday Gambler 🎲
  • Stack Overflow Archaeologist 🏺
  • Vibe Coder 🌊
  • "You're Absolutely Right" Whisperer 🤖

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is beatmyquiz free?

Yes. Taking a quiz is free and needs no sign-up. Writing quizzes by hand is free forever, with no limit on quizzes. You also get 2 AI-generated quizzes a month on the free plan.

What kinds of quizzes can I make?

Two kinds. A score quiz adds up points and gives each score range its own title — like “How old of a dev are you?”. An identity quiz lets each answer vote for a type — like “What kind of dev are you?”.

Do people need an account to take my quiz?

No. They tap through the questions, get a result card and can share it right away. No email, no password.

How does sharing work?

Every result becomes a 1080×1440 card with the taker’s own short link, like beatmyquiz.obodo.fun/k7f2. They can save the image or share to X. Friends who open the link land on your quiz, and you can see who brought whom.

Can AI write the quiz for me?

Yes. Describe a topic and AI drafts 20 questions plus the results. You read and edit every line before it goes live. A failed generation never uses up a credit.

Free forever to write
